Genetic Health Guarantee
Northstar Companions guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale. We provide a two-year genetic health guarantee covering life-threatening congenital defects. All parents are health-tested and cleared before breeding to ensure the highest standards of genetic transparency.
Spay & Neuter Agreement
This puppy is sold strictly as a companion pet. The buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian before the age of twelve months. Proof of the procedure must be sent to the breeder to maintain the validity of the health guarantee.
Mandatory Veterinary Examination
The buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of possession. Failure to do so will void the health guarantee. Any pre-existing life-threatening condition found during this initial exam must be documented by the vet for a full replacement or refund consideration.
Right of First Refusal
If for any reason the buyer can no longer care for the dog, Northstar Companions must be contacted immediately. The dog shall not be sold, given away, or surrendered to a shelter. The breeder retains the right of first refusal to assist in rehoming or taking the dog back to ensure it remains in a safe environment.
Buyer Responsibilities
The buyer agrees to provide high-quality nutrition, regular veterinary care, and appropriate socialization. The dog must be kept as an indoor pet. Northstar Companions is not responsible for any veterinary expenses, accidents, or illnesses incurred after the puppy leaves our premises.
